National Tree Planting Day 2018
The 16th staging of National Tree Planting Day was observed on Friday, October 5, 2018.
The initiative is aimed at promoting the value of forests and trees while providing an opportunity for everyone to contribute to increasing the island’s forest cover and beautifying the surroundings by planting trees.
This was selected as our first project in collaboration with KCOFM. We felt the symbolism were too strong to ignore, the starting of a new club and the planting of new trees, which represents putting down roots and future growth
